Free Paw Patrol Skye Hat Crochet Pattern

My little girl is obsessed with Paw Patrol so now the cold weather is here it was time to make her a hat. I went with a Paw Patrol hat of course and she loves it. Here is the pattern for my free paw patrol Skye hat.

This hat pattern is super easy to follow and a great gift for any little paw patrol lovers in your life. Hope you like it.

What You Will Need:

  • 5.5mm hook
  • dark pink, light pink, grey and light brown DK wool
  • Needle for sewing in the ends

Pattern:

1-2 Years:

Using dark pink:

R1: ch 3; 10 dc in the 3rd chain from the hook; sl st to the 1st dc to join.
R2: ch 2, 2 dc in each st around, sl st to the 1st dc to join.
R3: ch 2, (2 dc in the first st, 1 dc in the next st) X10, sl st to the 1st dc to join.
R4: ch 2, (2 dc in the first st, 1 dc in each of the next 2 sts) X10, sl st to the 1st dc to join.
R5: ch 2, (2 dc in the first st, 1 dc in each of the next 3 sts) X10, sl st to the 1st dc to join.
R6: ch 2, 1 dc in each st around, sl st to the 1st dc to join.
R7-R12: repeat R6

Change to light pink:
R13: 1 hdc in each st around, finish off and sew in the ends.

3-5 Years:

Using dark pink:

R1: ch 3; 10 dc in the 3rd chain from the hook; sl st to the 1st dc to join
R2: ch 2, 2 dc in each st around, sl st to the 1st dc to join
R3: ch 2, (2 dc in the first st, 1 dc in the next st) X10, sl st to the 1st dc to join
R4: ch 2, (2 dc in the first st, 1 dc in each of the next 2 sts) X10, sl st to the 1st dc to join
R5: ch 2, (2 dc in the first st, 1 dc in each of the next 3 sts) X10, sl st to the 1st dc to join
R6: ch 2, (2 dc in the first st, 1 dc in each of the next 4 sts) X4, 1 dc in each remaining st around, sl st to the 1st dc to join
R7: ch 2, 1 dc in each st around, sl st to the 1st dc to join
R8-R12: repeat R7

Change to light pink:
R13: 1 hdc in each st around, finish off and sew in the ends.

Ears Make 2:

Using light brown:

Row 1: Ch 11, hdc in 3rd ch from the hook and across
Row 2-7: Ch 2, turn. Hdc across
Row 8: Ch 2, turn. Hdc2tog, hdc in next 4, hdc2tog, hdc in last stitch
Row 9-10: Ch 2, turn. Hdc across.
Row 11: ch 2, turn. Hdc2tog, hdc in next 2, hdc2tog, hdc in last stitch.
Row 12-13: Ch 2, turn. Hdc across.

Paw Patrol Badge:

Using light pink:

R 1: Ch 2, 3 sc in the 2nd ch from the hook, ch 1, turn
R 2: sc in the 1st st, 1 sc in the next sc, 2 sc in the last sc, ch1, turn
R 3:1 sc in each sc, ch1, turn
R 4: 2 sc in the 1st st, 1 sc in the next 3 sc, 2 sc in the last sc, ch1, turn
R 5-6: 1 sc in each sc, ch1, turn
R 7: 2 sc in the 1st st, 1 sc in the next 5 sc, 2 sc in the last sc, ch1, turn
R 8-9: 1 sc in each sc, ch1, turn
R 10: Sl st in the 1st 2 sc, 1 sc in the next 5 sc, ch1 turn,
           leaving the last 2 sc un-worked.
R 11: 1 sc in each st around in grey to neaten up fasten off and weave in ends.

Paw Print:

Toes make 3: make a magic ring make 6 hdc, join fasten off
Pad: Make a magic ring, make 8 hdc, join fasten off.
Now all you have to do is sew the paw print to the badge then the badge to the front of the hat. Attach the ears and your hat is done. Happy hooking!
