Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas…. Christmas is nearly here and people are dressing their trees and hanging decorations. I wanted a black and white theme this year and since my favourite Christmas movie is A Nightmare Before Christmas I came up with these easy DIY Jack Skellington Christmas ornaments. Here is how I made them…
I love everything about Christmas from the sparkling lights to the freezing cold mornings. It is such a wonderful and magical time of year. My kids and I love the Tim Burton movie A Nightmare Before Christmas so it comes to no surprise that when m kids saw my DIY Jack Skellington Christmas Ornaments they were overjoyed.
This Christmas DIY is so simple to do and can be made with stuff you probably have lying around the house. If you enjoy my posts then feel free to visit my Facebook page and click the like button so you never miss a post from me (Busy Gal Blogs).
What You Will Need:
- Old wine glasses
- White card
- Large white Christmas baubles
- Black Sharpie
- Hot Glue Gun
- Black tulle and a small black hair elastic or card to make Jack’s bow tie
How I Made It:
First of all, I took some old wine glasses and drew around them onto a piece of card and cut the circles out.
I cut up some old tinsel and stuffed the glasses with it. I then hot glued the card to the glass to stop the tinsel falling out.
I took some large white baubles and cut the hanging part off (I can’t think what its called haha). I then drew on Jack Skellingtons face using a black sharpie pen.
I took some tulle and a hair elastic and made a bow. You could always use black card or paper if you don’t have any tulle. I placed a strip of tulle around the neck of the glass then hot glued the bow in place.
I hot glued the baubles to the glass and I was done. I think they turned out super cute.
